This blog will deal with exactly how much time should be spent standing versus sitting when you have a sit stand workstation. Ideally you will begin with between 10-20 minutes per hour of standing while sitting for the remainder of the time during your first few weeks. After that, depending on what additional equipment you have, you can begin to incrementally increase the amount of time spent standing by 5-10 minutes per week until you are “standing” for the whole day.
